Requirements:

• This candidate should have 5+ years experience as a DBA OR as a Network engineer
• Strong experience and a good working knowledge of real time trading systems
• Excellent troubleshoot/problem solving skills across a wide variety of technologies and disciplines
• Cisco PIX and Checkpoint Firewall rule additions and maintenanceSupport of Cisco and Foundry based networks.
• Troubleshooting customer connectivity issues
• Script writing for log analysisDocumentation of work
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols.  Excellent troubleshooting and protocol analysis skills required.
• Background with Cisco IOS, CatOS and CSS load balancer systems
• Working knowledge of PIX and Checkpoint firewalls
• Excellent Network Management Tools
• Familiarity with industry standard network monitoring tools
• 1st level Unix Admin skills  (Solaris and/or Linux )
• 1st Level Windows Administration skills.
• Unix and Windows scripting skills is a plus

DBA experience OR Trading Floor Application Support experience is a big plus
