Job Description

The client is currently building their Credit Portfolio Management team, in search for an ambitious, proactive Credit Portfolio Manager to take medium to long term long and short credit positions. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in credit portfolio management or credit trading. He or she should be comfortable analyzing and taking positions in a wide range of international names, preferably across rating categories. He or she should be prepared to adjust positions actively as well as running shorts and longs. He or she will manage existing portfolios and introduce and execute new strategies. The successful candidate will be confident in using loans, bonds, asset swaps, CDS and equity derivatives to express views and manage risk. He or she will be able to swiftly change tack as macro and sector views change and special situations arise.

Qualifications:

• CFA or equivalent

• He or she will be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

• An ability to speak English and Japanese will be a plus.
