Required: dynamic, smart individual with knowledge of hedge funds and/or derivative trading and accounting knowledge. The company has 150 staff in Sydney so you’ll need to be an “all rounder”. You’ll need the ability to be hands on and detail oriented while also being able to lead a large team and take a high level view around process development. In this role you will be responsible for the product control and financial control teams. The company is an employer and choice and will offer challenge but a good work life balance.
Responsibilities
High quality analysis and understanding of complex business systems.
Ensure daily reconciliation and cash flow management of complex derivative trading operations.
Successfully manage a finance and middle office team of eight.
Statutory and regulatory reporting.
Key Requirements
Financial services background such as clearing or hedge funds
