Our client a large Custodian Bank is currently seeking for Dynamic Individual to lead their Client Services Team.

Job Responsibilities
The individual appointed will be responsible for providing clients' solutions, managing and supporting implementation process for core custody product ranges, and thereafter, extend to include fund administration and clearing.

General Responsibilities of the Head of Client Services are:
  • Manage and service cross-border institutional and domestic clients.
  • Lead and manage clients' due diligence visits.
  • Lead, participate / coordinate clients' Request for Proposal (RFP), including presentations, and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Coordinate account openings, Know-Your-Customer procedures, asset transitions, billing invoice verifications.
  • Ensure compliance procedures are followed and necessary documentations in place.
  • Keep abreast of latest market developments and product initiatives, including circulation of newsflashes and updates of country guides.
  • Manage product delivery quality, ensuring consistency, and constant improvement to service levels.
  • Manage, influence and build rapport with Regulators and Industry leaders with a view to drive for international standards representing the interest of foreign institutional and local investors.
  • Working closely with Regional Product Managements, Sales, IT and Operations for custody product developments and implementations.
  • Staff management including coaching, and training of the client services team.

Qualities Required
  • Business minded individual who is a self-motivator, energetic and innovative.
  • Self-confident and performance driven.
  • Ability to articulate, formulate and deliver high quality presentations and communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to make decisions, influence others and work in co-operative manner and find resolution to product needs.
  • Mature and well developed leadership qualities.
  • Good working knowledge of the securities / banking practices and regulations of Hong Kong.
  • Knowledge of Custody, Clearing or Fund Administration, or with background in either Asset Management, Investment Banking or Securities Broking.
  • Strong appreciation of operations processes and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Individuals with strong custody, clearing or fund administration experience preferably, or with background in Asset Management, Investment Banking or Broking.
  • Individuals with 3 to 5 years of client services experience in custody or asset management.
  • Fully conversant in both English and Mandarin, including written communication.
