Excellent opportunity to work at one of the largest and globally prestigious investment banking and securities firms.
-Handling document requests and retrieving Yukashoken Hokokusho, SEC documents and company documents and delivering those to users (including contact with outside agents and other regional offices) -Processing daily reference requests and providing reference services, including conducting online database searches and non-electric resource searches, and refering the requests to appropriate outsource -Maintaining corporate documents (both printed and electronic forms) -Instructing users in the effective use of electronic and printed resources -Maintain and exchanging updated information with co-workers and peers as well as with other support staff, on the issue of useful resources and new information/network technologies -Perform various projects as assigned by the superior -Conduct administrative jobs (i.e. invoice processing, order materials, subscription renewals etc) -Supervise and training a filing clerk on a daily basis -Manage outside contractors, vendors and information providers for obtaining appropriate service and product
Requirements: -Knowledge of relevant electronic sources and information network -Appropriate search skills with basic online database and printed materials required -Knowledge of the information flow of official corporate documents in Japan and foreign companies -Good interpersonal skills and ability to function as a team player with excellent verbal/written English and Japanese -Bilingual in Japanese and English -Team player and good communication skills - A minimum of 2 to 3 years working experience in the information services role, preferably in a financial services institution -Bachelors degree in library and information science or proper equivalent is preferred
