Associate Real Estate Investment
Location: Bahrain
An amazing opportunity has arisen to work for one of the Middle East’s most prestigious Banks.
Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for researching and analyzing data including industry and company specific data as identified by management, Responsible for undertaking due diligence, valuations, presentations, interaction with other groups and the execution of private equity transactions originated by senior members of the team.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
• Analyze and apply data from a variety of sources
• Analyze financials of target company and conduct research of industry and company to draw conclusions based on findings. • Prepare and assist in the preparation of • documents / presentations on projects for review within the Investment Group and for the Investment Committees.
• Build valuation models to determine preliminary pricing of the proposed transactions
• Conduct and coordinate due-diligence activities with internal and external consultants.
• Assist in preparing analytics, models and other tools used in the process of screening transactions.
• Train and supervise the investment analysts
Major Accountabilities
• Efficient execution of transactions
• Timely completion of projects and tasks
• Manage project files according to the agreed structure / policies within the unit
• Due diligence process of the project
• Valuation models
Educational Qualifications Masters degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Experience
• 3 - 7 years of related experience and of which a minimum of 4 years of work experience in Corporate Finance/Banking Department • Knowledge of finance and valuation concepts • Some real estate exposure (preferably in different geographies would be useful though not essential) • Understands cash flow (cost side) and value flow (income side) of real estate financial modeling • Able to build bespoke financial feasibility models for a range of real estate investment types and sectors in order to assess IRR, Yield and a number of sensitivity stress tests analysed • Experience with green field, brown field development projects if possible • Ability to write compelling and articulate investment appraisals in English • Some exposure to preparing PPM’s would be an advantage • Problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work with people
• Strong computer skills (MS excel proficient)
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
