The Director of the Corporate and Financial Practice will be part of the senior management team in our Hong Kong office.
The successful candidate must be able to lead and manage a team to grow and expand a portfolio of corporate and financial services clients. He/she will be a self-starter with a strong knowledge of the Hong Kong business environment and the ability to provide communication counsel to senior executives in a range of industry sectors.
Primary Responsibilities - Act as a Trusted Advisor to key clients - Profitably lead a portfolio of Corporate and Financial industry client business. - Develop overall communications programs for these clients - Profitably identify and/or lead new business efforts from new or existing clients - Proactively manage client expectations and ensure that all issues impacting client satisfaction are addressed - Manage the key financial metrics of client relationships, including client contribution and working capital - Oversee and generate significant work for more junior staff - Recruit new talent that broadens and deepens our capabilities - Play a lead role in developing staff. Can include acting as Professor or Coach for a training program and/or serving as a Mentor - Proactively address staff performance issues
