Our clients are leading US and European banks that are looking for dynamic and qualified Product Control professionals to join their teams.
We have a few roles covering a range of products, including, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Structure Products and Credit Derivatives among others.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of the daily P&L reports for the business
Monitoring the trading activity for related product discipline
Reporting and analysis of the proprietary trading profit and loss, risk positions to traders and management
Working with other areas in the firm to ensure accurate and appropriate capturing of trades
Involved in the development and facilitation of new procedures and systems
Verification of positions and pricing utilized, and the review of trading for reasonableness
Accounting for derivatives to comply with the accounting requirements
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 up to 7 years post qualified experience from a Product Control or Risk role within an Investment Bank
Strong financial markets derivative product knowledge acquired through similar roles
Strong analytical and mathematical / finance skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to break down complex problems into their core components.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong PC skills
